Finally had time to sit down and update my site after Darkfest.
It was a great day with the chance to meet up with loads of fantastic people, and to fill in gaps in my film collection.
Very pleased I got the chance to talk to Adrienne King who played Alice Hardy in the genre defining Friday the 13th. So nice to meet such a wonderful person and horror legend. Unfortunately I did not win the Camp Crystal Lake Wine in the raffle!
My stall was luckily opposite the amazing Eileene Daly from Razor Blade Smile and Cradle of Fear. You cannot ask for more, a horror film by Cradle of Filth with Eileene!
I was also lucky enough to meet Barbie Wilde without the use of a Lament Configuration puzzle box! I got a copy of her own Hellraiser story the Cilicium Quadra which I read on the train back to Portsmouth. Truly outstanding. I have downloaded the audiobook of her story The Venus Complex which is read by the legendary Doug Bradley.
I will hopefully see everyone at Darkfest 8 next year. Keep an eye on my events page!
